Carved Doors of Jageshwar 

Folklore of the region has timelessly recorded the mountain people's craftsmanship. The living beauty of the craft can be seen in the spiritual town of Jageshwar. The doors that adorn the entrances of the temples, homes and the heritage-rich structures do not contain ‌ floral decorations or ‌ geometric patterns, but these are stories of devotion that have been carved in the wood. These storytellers, through these entrances, bring to life the belief system of the mountains along with the generational wealth of this craft. 

Shiva Walks

These are journeys that are carried out on trails where spirituality and nature meet simultaneously. The philosophy of Shiva acts as a guiding light during this enriching experience. One connects with the ideals of the Pashupati through gaining heightened awareness about the natural landscape of the region, such as the mountains, the rivers, the temples, the forests, etc. With each step, you gain a new perspective on life. Slowly, you start to be in sync with the surrounding environment. 

Van Serai 

सावन का महीना सभी शिव भक्तों के लिए सबसे बड़े पवित्र महीनों में से एक है। सावन जुलाई के अंत से शुरू होकर अगस्त के मध्य तक चलता है। यह मानसून सत्र का समय होता है। सावन हिंदू कैलेंडर का पाँचवाँ महीना है।

सोमवार को शिव रुद्राभिषेक और पार्थिव पूजन के लिए बहुत से लोग जागेश्वर आते हैं। पार्थिव पूजन के लिए लोग 4 अलग-अलग तरह के शिवलिंग बनाते हैं।

Known by various names in different mountainous regions, Rhododendron is not just one of the most beautiful flowers, it is also beneficial thanks to its medicinal properties. It is also the state tree of Uttarakhand.

While travelling in Uttarakhand, you may chance upon a small hut-like structure, usually made of stone, that resembles a small temple. It holds a great treasure, a fresh and clean spring of water.

वन सराय और प्रकृति 

अपने घर से दूर एक और घर वन सराय। बर्फ से आच्छादित्  हिमालय के महान व अदभुत आकर्षक पर्वत शृंखलाओ के नज़दीक एक छोटा सा गाँव जागेश्वर धाम, जो की प्राचीन देवदारु के घने जंगलों के बीच मैं बसा हुआ है। संस्कृत या वैदौ मैं इन्हें दारूक वन भी कहा जाता है। इसलिए भगवान शिव के १२ ज्योतिर्लिंगो मैं जागेश्वर धाम को अष्टम ज्योतिर्लिंग माना जाता है।
